Technical Architect (Java 8 Spring DevOps CI/CD). The UK's leading online financial derivatives trading site is seeking a passionate Technical Architect to establish and evangelise DevOps solutions across the business.

You'll become the subject matter expert for DevOps, Continuous Delivery tooling, metrics monitoring, alerting, service discovery and PaaS (Platform as a Service) technology as well as the technical point of contact for all matters relating to Java versioning (moving from Java 8 to Java 9). Responsibilities will include facilitating workshops, giving presentations and helping to support development teams in their adoption of DevOps best practice.

This is a high profile Technical Architect position in which you can make a real impact within a collaborative, technology driven software house environment with flexible working practices.

Requirements:

*Strong software engineering background with Java and Spring

*Experience of designing / building Continuous Delivery pipelines and supporting tools

*Good knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns and Gang of Four Design Patterns

*Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and documentation skills
