Our well established global client based in the Oxfordshire area are seeking a QA Specialist Software Engineer to join their team working in a collaborative Agile environment using cutting edge technologies such as GO, Gherkin, Cucumber, BDD. TDD, Node.JS, Salesforce and Provar.
The QA Specialist Software Engineer will join a "T-shaped" Agile Squad/Tribe, working as part of the Software Development team with their main attribute being a Testing and QA Automation mind-set.
The QA Specialist Software Engineer role would be suitable for a Tester or a QA Analyst who are looking to broaden their skillset across Design through to Delivery. The QA Specialist Software Engineer will be someone who is passionate about Development, DevOps, Continuous Delivery and Automation as well as having the eagerness to learn and expand their skillset.
Key skills for QA Specialist in Software Engineering Team:
Experience using the BDD approach to testing.
QA and Testing mindset
Have experience working as the QA Specialist within a team or as part of a specialist QA/Testing Department
Coding/ programme experience with things like Java, Ruby, Python, Node.JS, GO, JavaScript
Agile experience - ideally with Squad/Tribe/Chapter understanding
