The Solutions Architect will:
Work with Lead Architects, Software Developers, Cloud Specialists, Business Analysts, Director Level and C-Level colleagues to Design Amazing Cloud based Solutions in a Global Business
Use a (CI) continuous improvement process utilizing all the latest tools
Think long term about production and the architecture of cutting edge solutions and technologies
Deliver Roadmaps for new products, services, solutions, software and infrastructure for the business
Work with Finance Systems and ERPs and CRMs, including Oracle ERP (R12), Hyperion, SAP, Salesforce, Siebel or similar
The Solutions Architect will have as much experience with:
Architecture Artefacts
Using Architecture frameworks e.g TOGAF
Leading teams or Projects
Being ‘hands on’ in Cloud based ERP’s and CRM’s, Software Development or Infrastructure
Waterfall and Agile, including Scrum, SAFE, Kanban, Lean, Prince2
Good stakeholder management experience at a Senior level as an Architect
Experience working in different business domains - Software, Finance, Marketing, Sales, HR etc
Managing large projects concurrently - ideally in an Agile environment
The Solutions Architect may also have:
Experience using IAAS, PAAS, SAAS - maybe utilizing AWS, Google Cloud or Azure.
Experience working on finance solutions and processes - O2C, Q2C, P2P etc
Experience working within a large global company with both onshore and offshore teams, including Europe, India, United States and Philippines,
Experience working with Oracle ERP, SAAS, Hyperion, SAP or anything similar
A background in Solution Design/Development and Application Architecture
This role would be ideal for a Solutions Architect who would like a permanent role with a global company and progress their career in to the heavy heights or Lead Architect, Director or VP.
It could be suitable for an Enterprise Architect looking to move across to more of a Solutions Architect type role.
Maybe you are a Solutions Architect who has experience using SAAS and wants an opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies in this area and expand on its use.
Even a Solutions Architect who has experience using Oracle ERP and is on the market for a new exciting opportunity to work in Oxford.
Maybe a previous contractor who wants to work closely on long term projects, local to the Oxford area.
This role is based in some high tech offices just outside of Oxford and would be commutable from Aylesbury, Abingdon, Didcot, Bicester, Banbury, Burford, Eynsham, Witney, Carterton, Gloucester, Swindon. Even Milton Keynes, Northampton, Coventry, Newbury, Basingstoke or similar is okay to commute from.
