Do you have a passion for Ethical Hacking and Security Engineering? Do you have experience of tools and methodologies used to perform Penetration Tests and Technical Security Analysis? We are looking for Ethical Hackers to join our Cyber Security Testing Team. This is a hands on role, carrying out penetration testing activities on applications and infrastructure and helping to define and implement best practice in support of our Cyber Security and ITS strategy.
DVLA has an extensive change program and you will engage in a rolling programme of security testing covering multiple IT domains and environments, you'll also be testing new software and infrastructure projects to ensure that DVLA remains responsive and adaptable to the changing threat environment, business requirements and Central Government policies.
This is a specialist technical role in a fascinating field of IT which offers opportunities for personal and professional development.
Essential Experience
* Extensive knowledge of Cyber Security Mandatory
* Resource Management Experience Mandatory
* Significant experience of large scale and mission critical Enterprise solutions with knowledge covering at least 2 of the following technologies; Microsoft desktop clients Linux and Microsoft Servers Networking and protocols Wireless Networking Telephony
* Extensive ITHC management experience
* Knowledge of scripting / programming languages such as C, Python, Bash, Perl, Powershell etc.
