The role is as follows:- Customer / supplier liaison.
- Coordinate training of staff in relation to quality issue awareness.
- Play a part in all quality management strategies, plans, systems or financials.
- Ensure compliance across the site to all quality aspects.
- Implement preventative methods through the use of RCA and C.I. methods.
- Lead a number of employees within the quality department to improve overall quality on site.
They are ideally looking for someone with the following background:
- Experience in RCA
- Knowledge of various lean techniques such as Six Sigma, Ishikawa, 8D and various others
- Working knowledge of NADCAP.
- Understanding of AS9100 or TS/IATF 16949
- Management or team leadership experience
- SPC
- MSA
- PPAP / APQP
- Experience Liaising with customers/suppliers and dealing with any issues
- Understanding of Continuous Improvement
Ideally, they are looking to pay a salary of £45,000 - £55,000 for the Senior Quality Engineer position.
