Project Controller

3 months contract

Cheltenham

£15.00 - £30.00 p/h

Role Summary:

The Project Controller demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals/programs/processes. Has the experience or expertise to solve problems. Able to develop and execute objectives for self and others. Will participate in project teams to facilitate the implementation of GE's project management methodology.

Key Activities:

* Risk Management

* Participate and present Internal Project reviews - Finance, Tollgates etc.

* Billings Management

* Ad HOC reports to PMO and Senior management

* Lead or participate on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues

* Assure proper documentation of data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with GE policies and procedures

* Develop action plans with guidance to respond to issues/ problems

* Provide leadership to personnel/ cross functional teams supporting the assigned project

Essential responsibilities:

* Risk Management

* Analyzing risks as well as identifying, describing and estimating the risks affecting the Programme

* Risk evaluation, which involves comparing estimated risks with criteria established by the programme such as costs risk reporting for different audiences,

* Participate and present Internal Project reviews - Finance, Tollgates etc

* Billings Management

* Ad HOC reports to PMO and Senior management

* Lead or participate on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues

* Assure proper documentation of data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with GE policies and procedures

* Develop action plans with guidance to respond to issues/ problems

* Provide leadership to personnel/ cross functional teams supporting the assigned project

* corporate governance involving external risk reporting to stakeholders;

* conducting audits of policy and compliance to standards, including liaison with internal and external auditors;

* Providing support, education and training to staff to build risk awareness within the organisation.
