This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established and successful software development company based in Woking (25 minutes from London Waterloo). Due to continued success and growth they have a requirement for a new Software Developer to join the team.

They are looking to appoint an enthusiastic developer with excellent skills in mainstream web and web services development methodologies and backend database development. Your primary role will be to provide the web and web services development expertise to drive their existing web and web services products forward, but you will also be expected to develop the back-end database as well as some desktop development. This is a challenging role, which at times will push you to the limits of your skills and knowledge, but it is a role which will allow you to really make a difference. The nature of the work is ever changing so you will always need to be on top of your game in order to get things done.

Above all, the ideal candidate will have the desire to make great products which fulfil their customer needs, but an eye for detail and catering for a great User Experience (UX) are also important to us.

Whilst this role will focus largely on web and web services development, you will be expected to work with the development team on product interactions with databases and general development on their desktop products. If you have the mind-set of wanting to get 'stuck in' to all aspects of development you will suit us down to the ground

Experience of the following is essential: C# .NET, ASP.NET, MVC, SOAP and RESTful Web services, WCF, Oracle P/L SQL or SQL Server TSQL, XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, AJAX, WMS, WFS, JavaScript, jQuery

Experience of the following would be advantageous: Lucene, GeoJSON, jQuery, PostgreSQL

Candidate requirements:

- All candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK

- Candidates should live within a 1 hour commute of Woking, Surrey

- All candidates must be in a position to obtain UK security clearance to SC level
