C++ Software Engineers - High Performance Computing (Permanent)

This world leading developer of High Performance Computing Systems is looking for motivated and skilled Senior Software Developers, at all levels, to join its Advanced Technology Team.

You will be working on the design and development of infrastructure software components targeting future High Performance Computing platforms.

You will work with members of their Advanced Technology Group, defining aspects of their next generation, extremely scalable, high performance computing systems for both High Performance Computing, Data Analytics and Machine Learning products.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical and interpersonal skills with a passion for computer technology, working with a team of software developers and system architects based in Bristol, UK providing advanced capabilities for future system architectures.

You will need -

A BSc or advanced degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience

Linux system software development expertise, ideally low level or networking

Proficient programming in C/C++

Any of the following is a bonus -

Knowledge of operating system architecture, networking and file systems

Outstanding problem solving skills

Ability to work well in a cooperative development environment, both within and across teams
