Electronics Systems Engineer required to join an innovative aerospace company in Bristol specialising on the design and production of an electrically powered personal aircraft

As Electronics Systems Engineer you will develop from the ground up the Platform Avionics Software, Hardware & Power Systems to produce this new aircraft. This role will include duties such as; assisting with the development of avionics electronic architecture and definition to aerospace standards, Hardware design and implementation. You will also assist with the build and fault-finding of the project, development of company software tools that aid design (MATLAB / Python) and the analysis and specification of power electronics management systems.

The ideal Electronics Systems Engineer will have a fundamental knowledge of electronic systems and power electronics with the ability to program. Bachelor's Degree in relevant Engineering or Physics degree, an aerospace / automotive background with modelling experience and 3-5 years' experience in a similar role would be beneficial.

The Role:

* Electronics Systems Engineer

* Assisting the development of avionics electronic architecture and definition.

* Analysis and specification of power electronics management systems

* Hardware design and implementation to prototype standards

* Simulation of complex areas of the system to de-risk program

* Management of subcontractors (if and where necessary)

* Assist with the build and fault-finding of the project

* Embedded / application code to support development

* Development of company software tools that aid design (MATLAB / Python)
