Remote Senior Backend Engineer opportunity to work alongside experienced entrepreneurs in a well-funded VC backed Blockchain technology business. You will be working with highly skilled engineers to design and build the best mobile Blockchain browser.

You will be lead the design & development of backend services for the decentralised application. You should have DevOps experience, as you will be leading the architecture, development and overseeing backend infrastructure.

You will use continuous improvement to keep engineering standards high, while you develop cutting edge services on top of Ethereum Nodes. You will focus on improving efficiency, scalability and reliability of backend systems.

Skills Required:

* You have 5+ years of experience designing and delivering scalable distributed systems in a variety of languages and environments

* Good experience with languages like Java, Javascript, Python, Ruby and you love the Linux Command Line

* Experience building consumer facing APIs and you can master web paradigms such as REST, RPC, and Websockets

* You should enjoy learning and adopting new technologies.

Desirables:

* Experience with iOS/Android push notifications.

* Good knowledge of cryptography and security best practices
