Job Title: Data Architect

Location: Reading

Start Date: April

A key client of ours is looking for an experienced Data Architect to come on board for an initial three month contract, based in Reading which is highly likely to extend.

Job Requirements:

* Key deliverable is to provide an Architecture Definition Document for Data Catalogue and Data Quality tools

* Participate and support in the development of the requirements for data catalogue and data quality, e.g. by inputting architecture and technology requirements and reviewing general requirements for completeness

* Engage and consult with Data and Analytics (DnA) and Enterprise architecture stakeholders to ensure ADD is aligned with all key principles and target architecture

* Presentation of ADD to key architecture stakeholder groups for review, assurance and sign off

* Collaborate as needed with functional work teams to achieve business results. Disseminate information across the team, and keep up to date with functional improvements of solution.

Qualifications:

The Architect should have experience in the majority of the following areas:

1 Good working knowledge of data management practices and principles

2 Broad experience of data management solutions and associated technology

3 Experience of enterprise-scale data management initiatives

4 Exposure and experience with data catalogue and data quality tools

5 Background in Business Intelligence and Analytics

6 Background in data modelling (conceptual, logical, physical)

7 Exposure to Cloud based solutions

8 Good communication and soft skills (presentation and documentation)
