SC Cleared Project Manager to be based in Gosport on an initial 6 Month contract. Experienced Project Manager to handle all aspects of multiple projects from scheduling to budgets and multiple stakeholders.

Rate - £ 430 per day

Duration - 6 Months

Overall Role Purpose:

Leads a team to deliver projects on schedule and within budget, while satisfying approved Authority requirements and specifications within the scope of the project. Responsible for the appropriateness, quality and timeliness of all aspects of the project. Manages the production of project estimates and the project schedule. Establishes tracking measures and milestones, tracks ongoing project progress, tracks and controls the budget. Assembles the project team, negotiates with third parties, assigns individual responsibilities, identifies appropriate project resources, and provides guidance and direction to project team members. Proactively manages risks, issues, budgets, and scope throughout the project life-cycle. Prepares/presents project plans/status reports to Account leadership teams, project teams and the Authority.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Technology:

Together with the Solution and/or Technical Architect ensures that the technology solution addresses the scope, while being deliverable within the project's time and budget constraints.

People:

Directs and motivates the project team, and establishes an effective climate for achieving positive working relations with other stakeholders (e.g. the Authority, third parties, and Client Management).

Customer:

Acts as Client's main point of contact with the Authority and is responsible for communication outside of the project. Understands Authority and Client goals and requirements and manages expectations and dependencies.

Business:

Understands both Client's and the Authority's business context and how the project impacts both. Maintains an awareness of changing business needs and external influences, and recognises their potential impact on project goals.

Financial:

Achieves contractual (PD/CP) commitments related to quality, cost, and schedule. Facilitates the review of risks and develops appropriate risk mitigation plans. Oversees and is responsible for budgets, facility and hardware contracts, the accuracy of customer invoices, third party invoice verification, and accounts receivable collections.
