Front Office RISK FX Business Analyst - Investment Bank

FX IS ESSENTIAL. RISK IS ESSENTIAL. INVESTMENT BANKING ESSENTIAL.

Role is for a business analyst to work as part of the Pricing & Risk Management development team on the bank's Front Office FX Options system. The team is comprised of two sub-teams, Pricing, and Risk and Regulatory, with the role spanning both areas. As such, both the pre-trade and risk reporting perspectives are in scope.

                                                                                                                                        Experience of working with Front Office users and IT teams to understand and specify business needs

                                                                                                                                        Strong understanding of FXProductsfrom pricing, risk management and Back Office aspects

                                                                                                                                        Experience with working with in-house development teams

                                                                                                                                        Experience with defect logging systems and defect testing and re-testing cycles

                                                                                                                                        Basic SQL skills to query data and ability to manipulate data in Excel

Educated to degree-level at minimum in a numerate or technical discipline

The responsibilities for this role are:

                                                                                                                                        Produce/refine business requirements and functional specifications from Quants, Risk, Middle Office and Trading

                                                                                                                                        Carry out functional, performance and regression tests

                                                                                                                                        Ensure accurate functional coverage and validate test scenarios

                                                                                                                                        Investigate and explain numerical impacts across development branches

                                                                                                                                        Manage and escalate risks and issues

                                                                                                                                        Assist in defining automated testing procedures

                                                                                                                                        Coordinate component releases in different environments

                                                                                                                                        Drive delivery of the functional requirement to satisfaction of the business

                                                                                                                                        Ensure documentation is updated, clearly labelled and organized and well understood by its consumers

                                                                                                                                        Provide third line functional support to production
