Development Manager required for a fast moving, award winning company based in the West London area. My client has some large scale projects coming up and need to add an experienced Development Manager to their ranks. You will be heading up a small team of Developers and DBAsThe role of Development Manager will be primarily responsible for managing and leading technical teams as well as overseeing the software development process. You will act as a technical and management expert for all things related to Software Development and Architecture activities.Crucial to this role is experience in managing software development teams to drive best practice and hit hard project deadlines. You will be an advocate of creating an enthusiastic and motivated software development environment and be able to push your team to translate complicated business requirements in to high quality software solutions. Key Experience:

'€¢5+ years development experience'€¢Highly experienced using C# and VB.NET'€¢SQL Server 2012 and above'€¢Public Facing APIs/WebServices'€¢Any experience in Azure would be highly desirable'€¢Previous experience of managing development teams'€¢Has a background encompassing an array of techniques & tools to manage and support the development team'€¢Software practises Eg TDD and BDD'€¢Developing and maintaining strong 3rd parties and vendor relationships
