Solution Architect - Active Directory to be based in London on an initial 6 Month contract. Experienced Solution Architect with extensive experience working with Active Directory and other infrastructure.

This role will join as part of the wider Architecture & Engineering Community (AEC) within the Account, but will be associated within the T&T programmes. Client's EUS tower is leading a number of transformation projects (T&T) within the End User Services.

The Account has a number of active directory forests; some of which are managed by the client. The main corporate forest is in the process of being upgraded, however there is a legacy forest which has recently become subject to Client's scope. This will be a key role within a small team, to provide technical leadership in the upgrade of a legacy active directory forest. The team will consist of a project manager, and one or more WinTel engineers as required. The domain consists of over 300 servers hosting a number of legacy applications and infrastructure services. The role includes:

* To assist the PM in supporting the discovery phase in determining the upgrade approach and roadmap for the supporting infrastructure services (e.g. DFS, DHCP, etc.) and their migration into the corporate domain (if appropriate).

* Document the High level design for the legacy forest AD

* Document the Low level designs for the legacy forest AD

* Document the roadmap for support infrastructure and its migration to the corporate domain (if appropriate)

* Provided detailed technical steps and advice to engineers to implement the update of the Active Directory

* Attend client meetings and act as a technical lead within this project

* Liaise with the other Active Directory upgrade project (e.g. Corporate domain upgrade), and contribute towards the overall AD upgrade programme.

* Active Directory Upgrades (Windows 2000, 2003, 2008R2, and 2012R2), 3+ years

* Quest/Dell AD tooling (e.g. Active Roles, Migration Manager) 1+ year

* High Level / Low Level Design skills 2+ years
