IT services company based in Manchester since 1996 is seeking to recruit a very high level IT service desk engineer / Consultant to expand their existing skills, they are seeking a 2nd/3rd level person who excels themselves in the field of Microsoft technologies to work at their Manchester offices.

You will be reporting directly to the managed services director and must be competent in all areas of Microsoft Technologies and be beyond MCSA/MCSE or MCIT Level.

Proven track of achieved certifications is a must for this position.

The role is very diversed and an in-depth knowledge of technologies is required, you will be required to take onboard customer requirements and strategic projects from conception to delivery.

You must be very much "hands on" and be a team player with demonstrated experience in Infrastructure and workplace environments.

Preferences will be given to candidates who can demonstrate a minimum of 5-10 years' experience in networking, Infrastructure and Sever implementation projects (2008/2012/2016).

You must be authorised to take up employment in the UK.

- Enterprise Active Directory Installations and troubleshooting

- Networking (Switches and Routers)

- Enterprise VPN Implementations (Cisco / Juniper if Possible)

- PowerShell Scripting

- Virtualisation of Data Centres

- Clustering

- Workplace implementations

- Global Policy Implementations

- Windows 7/10 Expertise down to registry / system understanding

- MCSE/MCSA or MCIT Certified

- Hyper V / VMware

- Cloud Technologies (Azure)

- Security and Firewalls
