Role: Technical Data Analyst - contract/interim

Location: Dunstable

Duration: 6 months

Overview:

Document technical data requirements between programme workstreams and the ESB development team

What we're looking for

-Ideally you will have worked as Technical Data Analyst in the hospitality or retail sector 

Inquisitive nature, able to get to the heart of the detail to develop interface mapping documents and schema designs

-The ability to interpret data from multiple sources to create interface mapping documents and schema design

-The ability to acquire data from a number different sources in a timely manner to ensure project timescales are achievable

-Experience with middleware architecture, preferably Mulesoft

-Critically evaluate information gathered and develop complete and accurate interface mapping specifications and schema designs for API’s for the Offshore development team developing the Mulesoft ESB

-Work closely with the project team, through backlog creation/grooming sessions and elaboration activity, to define users stories that capture the business and functional requirements identified.

-Liaise with stakeholders to understand current business processes, documents and priorities, and interpret these needs in order to identify requirements across all affected areas in order to build, test and deploy the APIs

-Perform initial impact assessments on new project work, identifying the key points of new functionality or complexity, and presenting to development for estimation

-Responsible for defining detailed solution proposals to projects that are more complex by nature, or encompassing multiple system interactions.

-Produce supporting documents documentation such as the project estimation/scoping documents, solution proposal documents, system documentation, release documentation using standard templates and natural language.

Key Skills

-Technical Systems Analysis expertise, ideally with Mulesoft expertise and an API driven background with good technical acumen

-Technical exposure with data mapping and interface specs

-Experience of working with SQL, XML, API

-Strong analytical skills are essential

-Willingness to learn and get up to speed quickly.

-Sense of urgency
