Role: PMO Lead - Operations Manager

Location: London

Duration: 12 months

Clearance: CTC/SC

My Client has an exciting new opportunity available for an experienced PMO Lead to join the team based in London for a 12 month project.

This candidate will be an integral part of the Projects leadership team, the Programme Operations Manager/ PMO Lead will be critical to the successful delivery of a multi-million pound programme portfolio across the Hosting and EUS contracts for a major organisation.

The successful candidate will be keen on developing and aligning processes, project planning and maintaining overall portfolio reporting for the account.

Requirements:

* 7 years exposure to Programme and Project management, with a strong appreciation of reporting, resourcing, planning and leadership.

* Formal Project Management qualification (Prince 2 practitioner) Agile PM also desirable.

* Represent the Client in external client boards, partnering with the Programme leads across the account to ensure all management reporting are up to date, represented and managed through the process before and after the sessions.

* Impeccable Portfolio planning using MS Project, Microsoft Excel etc.

* Custodian of the account Programme plan - managing, updating and reporting on progress - working with the project Managers/Programme leads.

* Deputise for Account Programme Lead.

* Excellent practical use of SharePoint and collaboration tools

* Support Account/ Sector Delivery Leader in the coordination of weekly account governance meetings

* Previous Outsourcing or consulting experience, specifically in Service delivery.

* Experience working in a SIAM model - not essential but desirable.

* Run frequent portfolio reviews working with the portfolio leads and SIaM partners

* Managing Project Procurement and sourcing activities - interfacing with relevant parties within the business and the account to ensure these activities are delivered successfully.

* Partner with finance and business teams to ensure alignment in billing/ reporting and invoicing against labour reports.

* Partner with the Business Office on programme portfolio and maintain overall programme plan managing milestones etc

* Partner with the Architecture Management Office (AMO) to ensure alignment with solutions and governance with the delivery plans. Attend Solution reviews and represent the Programme office in solution topics.

* Work with account to ensure alignment across portfolio.
