Our client designs, manufactures and supplies all of their products to a network of regional partners across the globe who sell and provide local support. It is this rapid expansion that has enabled them to become market leaders in over 30 countries in less than 20 years.

This growth has created an opportunity for an Application Test Engineer to join our client’s team and support their current embedded test personnel as further innovations and tools are developed through the pipeline.

Your Role:

As an Application Test Engineer, you will be tasked with providing an additional testing resource for our client’s software applications.

You will join a small existing team and primarily test mobile phone type applications as well as taking part in test automation and application testing for PCs and other devices, C# and BDD models moving forward.

Your role will also involve:

- Quality assurance for applications

- Performance, load and functional testing

- Creating, writing and executing test scripts and documenting test results

- Communicating test findings to colleagues and working with internal teams to understand requirements and develop test criteria

- Developing automation frameworks

- Designing, developing and executing functional and non-functional tests

- Completing peer reviews and test team work

- Capturing, recording and documenting bugs for reproduction

About You:

To be considered as an Application Test Engineer, you will need:

- Multichannel testing experience across web, mobile and native applications

- Coding skills to develop frameworks and automated tests using tools such as Gherkin, Visual Studio (C#) and Selenium

- Knowledge of database architecture

- API testing and load and performance testing experience

- The ability to develop clear, concise, test plans and cases, and perform manual and automated tests across desktop and web applications

- The ability to interpret written requirements and technical specification documents

- Confident written and verbal communication skills, including experience in client facing roles

- Attention to detail and a results driven approach
