MID-WEIGHT FRONT-END DEVELOPER

We are looking for a middle-weight front-end developer to join our team. You will be working with a vibrant, energetic and motivated team on projects in culture and commerce, for screen, mobile, physical interaction and everything in between. You will be a positive and focused individual with a genuine enthusiasm to innovate.

We are looking for someone who understands the nuances of interaction design, to go beyond the functional and have the ability to craft code to create the right user experience. Your role will be to bridge the gap between design concepts and technical implementation, taking an active part on both sides in defining how digital experiences feel as well as how they work.

Key Responsibilities

-- Working with the creative team to build digital brand experiences

-- Problem solving with the team to turn ideas into reality

-- Ability to develop responsive websites and progressive mobile apps using best practices

-- Build reusable code and libraries for future use

-- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

Skills And Experience

-- Proficient understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript

-- Understanding of workflows such as NPM, GULP and Webpack

-- Understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, such as jQuery, React and Vue

-- Ideally you will be from an agency background working with designers to create the most technically brilliant, creative output

-- Experience with integrating with Content Management Systems and web apps built in PHP or Ruby on Rails

-- Experience of working with version control systems such as Git
