Job Title: Data Business Analyst - SAP
Daily Rate: £400 - £450 per day (LTD)
Positions: 6
Contract Length: 6 Months
Location: Macclesfield
Job Overview
We are currently looking for an experienced 6 x SAP Data Analyst for an initial 6 month contract based in Macclesfield. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the following areas:
- Data Gathering
- Data Analysis/Investigation
- Senior stakeholders
- Data consolidation
- SAP (Ideally SAP FICO)
Desirable Experience
- Hyperion systems
The ideal applicant will have strong experience in a financial controller role or strong FICO technical analyst.
Day to Day responsibilities
The programme has 5 main work streams which will cover 2 areas. There are currently 2 roles within the Data Analyst Team and in the Management Reporting area there are 4 further roles.
The focus is looking at how data feeds into consolidated system. Every month the client closes down from SAP into their new system but there are changes being made to data items by the business between closing down SAP on a monthly basis and the new system.
Essential Experience
- Taking feeds from 8 different SAP systems into a consolidated Hyperion system, looking ultimately at building a new consolidated system in Hyperion.
- Strong ability to re-engineer data in to a clear and concise format.
- Identifying changes made to the data and investigate the cause of the change in data.
- Investigating data orientated pieces of work.
- Strong ability to work in a diligent, methodical and tenacious with an issue.
- Ideally having strong experience in a financial controller role OR strong FICO technical analyst.
- Candidates needs to have the ability to talk with the business
- Candidates with Hyperion / consolidation experience would be beneficial.
