The role

This role requires a forward-thinking person who is passionate about design and how it is communicated across digital platforms. The ideal candidate should be comfortable designing end-to-end projects for web and digital platforms including site mapping, wireframing, prototyping and crafting beautiful final design solutions. They should have a strong understanding of UX/UI principles and how to effectively and creatively translate a brand to a digital audience.

You will need to be effective working on multiple projects at the same time and work collaboratively alongside their experienced designers, developers, account managers and directors.

Key responsibilities

- Craft engaging responsive user interface designs using tools such as Sketch and Photoshop.

- Apply high design standards and knowledge to all digital projects (hierarchy, layouts, colour, typography)

- Make design decisions informed by user behaviours and other relevant data

- Apply web design and UX best practice to your work

- Carefully review every test build from a visual perspective and clearly communicate issues to the development team

- Actively participate in design team activities and project meetings

- Deliver all client-related work on time

Essential skills

- Have a professional approach to your work

- 3+ years' agency experience

- Be able to communicate at a high level, both written and verbal

- Deep passion for design with solid experience in UX and UI design

- Excellent understanding of user centered design principles and practices

- Proficiency using different design tools such as, but not limited to, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch and prototyping tools

- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to inspire trust and confidence to external and internal stakeholders

- Collaborative team player that is happy to share ideas, take constructive feedback from teammates and support with additional work when required

- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight timelines

- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JS is a big plus)
