What it’s about

Cambridge Assessment is creating a best in class authoring application with a great user interface and user experience. We are looking for an experienced Web Front End Developer to join our growing team who support and enhance our ground-breaking platform for producing assessment materials.

What you’ll be doing

Developing new features iteratively as a member of the product team.

Creating tests, quality code, and documentation to the required standards.

Creating prototypes and demonstrating features as required.

What we’re looking for

A strong background in web front end development.

Proven experience of developing enterprise-class web application user interfaces with an intuitive user experience.

Proven experience of developing with front-end programming languages: Javascript, HTML, CSS.

Proven experience of using one or more web development frameworks (Angular 1 and 2, React, Backbone, Ember).

Detailed knowledge and understanding of RESTful interfaces.

Knowledge of creating responsive and adaptive user experience.

Experience of agile delivery and continuous integration within a commercial environment would be desirable:

Ability to work independently, a desire to take ownership of any task assigned, and a flexible attitude.

Excellent team working skills and a strong motivation to work in a global organisation.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to think outside the box and demonstrate a mindset for continuous improvement and innovation.
