Design Engineering Manager - ADCs - 5G

A new opportunity has arisen at a successful multinational company for a Design Engineering Manager to lead a team of Analog IC Design Engineers developing next generation RF technology including 5G at their design centre based in Dublin, Ireland.

You will be overseeing around 10 Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design Engineers who will be developing ICs based on high performance RF data converter technology and will be engaging with the team, scheduling projects and managing.

You will have a proven track record in leading high performance teams in chip level Analog /RF specification, architecture, behavioral modeling, circuit design, verification and evaluation and debug of the silicon.

Industry degree qualified, the successful applicant will have 10+ years experience and a solid background in Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design and analysis and experience in managing teams ideally in the development of high performance and high speed (GHz) circuits and data converter design. You will also have an excellent understanding of circuit simulators, simulation techniques and behavioural modelling as well as in process technology and the influence on circuit behaviour.

Excellent customer facing and communication skills are required as well as a strong technical oversight and team management skills to be able to deliver chip level specification, architecture, implementation and silicon debug through to production.
