The Company:

Alphatec are looking for an experienced senior .NET MVC Developer to help us take our SaaS applications to the next level. We are a small growing privately owned company looking to embark on our next phase of growth.

Situated in a beautiful converted barn on the outskirts of Northampton you will enjoy tranquil surroundings while being given the opportunity to build applications using the latest technology. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to join a company have already made the Sunday Times Top 100 list twice and are now looking to achieve similar success in the SaaS market with 2 existing products in the marketplace (ClaimControl and Timebox) and a 3rd launching next year.

Your New Role:

You will work closely with the Directors to help select the best technologies, approach and direction for products, be hands on in the development and implementation of these technologies and help manage a small team responsible for the development and support of the applications.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Design and Development of the core products

Choice of Technologies, development methodologies - agile approach etc.

Managing a small team of developers

Working closely with the directors on product direction and opportunities

Skills & Experience:

Strong C# NET MVC Developer

MS SQL Server / T-SQL

Knowledge of common frameworks e.g. JQuery, Modernizr etc.

Good knowledge of Web stack (HTML5, CSS, Javascript, DOM etc.)

Experience in managing a team

Experience in Agile development methodologies an advantage
