Technojobs was established in 1999 and is a niche jobboard covering recruitment in the IT, telecoms, engineering and electronics industries. As a specialist jobboard, we aim to provide the best possible vacancy/candidate match, ensuring your applications are of the highest quality.
Our relaunch in January 2006 sees many more features to ensure that we help you fulfil your vacancies efficiently and cost effectively.
We've included specialist technology, tag scoring, that ensures the right jobs reach the right candidates, minimising the hassle and time of sifting through irrelevant applications.
You can also now manage jobs and applicants online.
Our job search system uses a complex scoring mechanism to ensure that the correct jobs are delivered upon searches, taken care of by our custom search engine. The same system ensures recruiters can find the best candidates for a position.
Recruiters can assign tags to a job such as the name of skills required which then ensures a higher listing when you search for that word. Candidates also further define their skills using the same tag scoring feature, resulting in optimum vacancy/candidate match, and therefore a higher quality of candidate for you.
Your vacancies are listed on Technojobs for one month and are also sent out to candidates* by email and RSS at no extra cost (*where candidates matching job criteria have subscribed to receive jobs by email/RSS) to ensure maximum exposure at very competitive rates. Jobs can be viewed (and applied for) by both registered Technojobs candidates and by the many prospective candidates that visit the site to browse in addition.
We recently conducted a survey to find out what our users wanted to see on Technojobs (recruiters and candidates alike). As a result, we've included many new features on the site.
Registration as a recruiter will also allow you to access your own secure user admin area. This area will enable you to sort through posted vacancies by status, prioritise and action your vacancies, acknowledge and respond to applicants in just a matter of moments, and record notes. Your admin area will ensure an application never "falls through the cracks" - all applications are tracked through the system and remain so until either the candidate withdraws the application or the recruiter closes the application (or job).
If you are finding any skills particularly difficult to source, you can also use our 'Hot Skills' features, which will automatically alert you to any candidates registering with those sought after skills - so that you can approach them before your competition do!
We offer a number of different packages to suit companies hiring direct and agencies of all sizes.
Packages are structured by job volume, catering for small recruiters wishing to place up to 25 jobs to larger recruiters wishing to bulk upload unlimited vacancies and access our candidate database (once your account has been set up, you can add additional user access at no extra cost).
Our costs are based on the number of jobs advertised on Technojobs at any one time during your contract period. Your user admin area will enable you to change the jobs appearing on the site, so if you fill one job during your contracted period you can remove this vacancy and replace with a new one for the duration of your contract (up to your maximum job number allowance per package.)
