My client based in Central Manchester have built a successful business from providing a clear focus on technical excellence. This has meant that they've been able to grow year on year and attract larger brands with more challenging requirements.

They've recently appointed a Creative Director to build a design team and creative services to meet this demand. And now they're looking for a senior designer to help them shape the creative future of the business. If you are looking to slot into a large design team however, then this role isn't for you.

What do they expect from you?

- Experience leading a design team, projects, and processes from concept through to execution

- Experience designing interactive experiences, an extensive knowledge of industry tools, and a proven understanding of designing user interfaces, and navigation

- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a larger team - they run a sprint approach to design so you'll need to design against user stories, clearly communicate with team members, and collaborate to reach the best outcome

- The ability to lead design work, to develop ideas, and confidently present designs to internal teams and clients

- Knowledge of motion design, as well as visual/interactive/motion design trends (this is about awareness of motion and how it impacts UX, and the presentation of UI)

- In-depth understanding of interactive design, capabilities of web browsers, and an understanding of design reliant technology

For this role my client are looking to compensate an ambitious Senior Visual Designer with a generous salary of £50-55k + excellent benefits and very real scope for career progression as the company expands over the coming years.
