Test Manager

Location: Cheshire

Type: Permanent

Salary: Up to £55,000

This company is looking for an experienced Test Manager to join a household name in one of the most successful technology hubs in the UK.

Your responsibilities will lie with developing the programme test strategy, ensuring it is updated and base lined to reflect changes to the project risk profile, schedule, testing processes etc. You need to define the test approach to ensure its optimum; this will allow you to meet project goals without compromising the quality.

Requirements of the role:

* Test management experience

* Experience of independently managing large test projects

* Management reporting, status reporting and test metrics skills

* Ensuring the defect management and configuration management

* Test estimations and budgeting

* Experience managing cross functional teams

* Strong exposure to testing and QA areas

Purpose of the role:

* Build efficiency in testing and continuous improvement of test methods, techniques and process

* Have full engagement with the project or program

* Ensue adherence to testing governance and processes

* Be responsible for end to end Delivery of Projects within programme

* Stakeholder Management

* Demand management

Essential Qualifications/ Skills:

* Excellent Written & Verbal Communications

* Excellent Team Leading / Resource Management skills

* Educational Qualification: BE ( CS or any stream )

* Certification: ISTQB/CSTE / CSQA / PMI (preferred)
