Leading fintech brand is currently expanding their team and are looking for a number of Oracle DBAs and Team Leaders to join their team.

For the Team Leader role, the business is looking for someone with a good balance of both technical management and people management skills. You will be able to use your technical knowledge and experience to define and develop the environment and procedures. You will also take the lead on any major service incidents. You will take accountability for the Oracle projects and production support, ensuring standards are defined and inline with architectural requirements and best practices.
You need to be able to offer experience of working in a 24/7 managed services / data centre environment, managing multiple tasks and resources as well as operating at pace. You will lead the definition of DBA delivery requirements for service improvement initiatives as well as support the architecture and product teams with developing the Oracle roadmap.
To be successful in this role, it is expected that you will be able to offer
* Expert knowledge of database administration on distributed platforms
* Knowledge of the ITIL framework
* Expert in multiple versions of oracle 11g, 12c plus strong working knowledge of at least one other database technology
* Expert knowledge of Active Data Guard useful plus any Golden Gate as this is being implemented soon
* Demonstrable experience of database performance tuning and capacity management on critical customer-facing systems
* Experience of working in a highly regulated environment and the associated processes and tools
