Revenue Assurance Analyst - 12-month contract - Basingstoke

Revenue Assurance Analyst required to join a Telecommunications and Intranet Service Provider based in Basingstoke on a 12-month contract.

Essential Duties

* Audit and evaluate customer's invoices, contracts, and orders to ensure revenue is billed appropriately and adequate margin is obtained

* Analyse customer's access charges and offnet architecture to optimise

* Work with and manage multiple departments to ensure customer's services are at the appropriate margins and installed and disconnected in agreed timeframes

* Architect and implement Margin Assurance controls including source data acquisition, normalisation and automation

* Implement new control points and metrics as the business changes

* Optimise database including query development and warehousing to transform large volumes of data into actionable audits

* Support adhoc requests, reports and projects

Education and Experience

* Experience: 5+ years

* Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Field Of Study: Business, Finance and/or Information Systems

* Combination of education and experience is acceptable Knowledge, Skills or Abilities

* Telecom network experience, access management domain preferred

* Understanding of Margin Assurance principles

* Understanding of Telecom OSS/BSS environments

* Proficiency with MS SQL BI Suite (Enterprise Manager, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)

* Strong experience in various reporting tools (SSRS, Crystal Reports, MicroStrategy, Business Objects, Brio, etc.)

* Experience with data management

* Strong analytical and problem solving skills

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment

* Experience with process mapping preferred

* Ability to hold others accountable

* Excellent judgment and decision-making capabilities

* Self-motivated and creative thinker

* Deadline driven and detail oriented

* Strong MS Office Experience

* Six Sigma or other Business Process Improvement methodology experience preferred
