Security Architect - Blackpool - 5 Month Contract

My client, a large Outsourcing organisation are looking for 2 Security Architects to join them working on a large Public Sector project based in Blackpool. The roles will be for 5 months initially and can offer around £500 per day.

The role is working in a global business and technology leader, innovating in research and development to shape the future of society at large. Working in a company always innovating and thinking ahead.

Experience/Required Skills:

* Candidates should hold a BCS Certificate in Information Security Management Principles (CISMP), or equivalent qualification, or knowledge and/or experience of physical and environmental security controls, information security management, people and technical security controls, and disaster recovery.

* CESG Certified Professional IA Architect (Practitioner) or Institute of Information Security Professionals (IISP) - Associate membership (A.Inst.IISP) (or equivalent certification or experience).

* A good understanding of security architectures, methodologies and frameworks, with practical experience of using industry standard enterprise architecture frameworks such as The Open Architecture Framework (TOGAF).

Nice to have Skills:

* Exposure to an area of IT design, such as application design and development, with knowledge of the tools or methods that can be used to design parts of a solution.

* Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, SQL, PHP and COBOL.

* Awareness of JSON, HTML, CSS, OAUTH and Node.

* Candidates will also be required to undergo a BPSS Clearance prior to going on site.
