Sustainability Analyst

Hampshire

A Leading Science and Engineering Organisation are recruiting for a Sustainability Analyst who will be responsible for the collection, validation, and analysis of key sustainability data streams.

They will provide meaningful performance and trend analysis across a range of environmental and social impact areas to enable evidence-based, strategic initiatives to be rolled out to drive demonstrable value to the Company.

The Sustainability Analyst will have responsibility for

* Ensuring sustainability data is complete, accurate, and verifiable.

* Developing appropriate sustainability reporting metrics and benchmarks, with corresponding monthly performance reports for all sites.

* Support the Head of Energy & Sustainability, the Energy & Utilities Manager, the Head of Health, Safety & Environment, and the Director of Corporate Responsibility in their respective reporting requirements, to specifically include (but not limited to) Carbon Reduction Commitment, Carbon Disclosure Project, and annual Greenhouse Gas Reporting.

* The production of sophisticated and intelligent reporting metrics and dashboards.

The Sustainability Analyst will be:

* Undergraduate degree and/or post-graduate or vocational qualification with strong data analytics components

* Proven track record of achievement in an analytical role, within a relevant environment

* Audit experience desirable.

* Highly skilled in data analytics

* Able to articulate complex data sets into meaningful business performance information, including current/historical performance benchmarks and future trends and forecasts.

* Eye for good design and able to produce clear and effective technical reports for non-technical recipients

* Methodical, consistent and persistent. Able to identify and interrogate anomalies.

* Understands the importance of good data hygiene and how to achieve it.

* Pro-active and a natural problem-solver.
