Role: Software Development Engineer - Motor-CAD, C++, Python, Matlab

Location: Wrexham, Chester (Area)

Salary: £22,000 -£32,000 + Benefits

Coming in to the established team to help develop their software, it's a great role for those seeking a long term career and to progress/ learn as you do so.

Day to Day Activity:

Task will be based around according priorities, but will include:

*Implementation of new algorithms in Motor-CAD

*Developing intuitive user interface features in the software

*Defining and scoping-out of software development tasks

*Assisting in the release of the software and conducting pre-release software testing

*Supporting customer requests via email, phone calls and web-meetings as required

*Developing new ideas and technologies for optimising and improving the models

*Working in a collaborative and professional manner with the team and customers

*Assisting engineering research and consulting projects, where required

Ideal Requirements

*Graduated with at least a 2:1 or above.

*Great understanding of Physics and Maths

*Software development across: C++, Python, Matlab)

*Understanding of Electromagnetics, thermal principles

*Professional attitude to work and around customer engagements

*Highly motivated with initiative

Desirables

*Design experience using electromagnetics and thermal modelling

*Knowledge of electric motors/ applications

*Innovation passion

*Potential foreign languages: German, French, Mandarin
