An permanent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Web Application Tester to work for a successful company at the forefront of their industry, based in Cambridge. You'll have the chance to take control of situations and use your expertise as you see fit in order to efficiently achieve desired outcomes in a web application testing environment, encompassing both automated and manual testing.

Essentials for this role:

- Understanding of web technologies (HTTP, TLS/SSL, REST)

- Networking technologies (IP addresses, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, UDP)

- Comfortable programming in Python, Java or a similar language

- Familiar with one or more operating systems other than Windows (Mac, Linux)

- Happy working with a command line interface

- Confident with manual testing techniques, including exploratory testing

- Have a passion for technology, particularly testing, acknowledging the important role it plays in software development

- Ability to learn new skills quickly

- Fluent in English (speaking/reading/writing)
