3rd Line Support and Project Based Implementation Work (Enterprise) - VMware, MS, Storage, Backups

We're looking for a senior engineer to join a forward thinking business. You will be working on the latest technology in an innovative and rapidly expanding organisation, providing escalated technical support on a range of infrastructure related technologies as well as working on various projects, leading design, deployment and post implementation support (design experience not essential).

The role is varied and will stretch from platform management, infrastructure/network management, projects and day to day escalated support across a broad range of technologies, experience with all is not essential and training and development are on offer in any areas where gaps exist, providing you have a strong understanding of most of the below, and can demonstrate a keen willingness and ability to quickly learn new skills.

The ideal candidate will have experience of (not all essential and the focus being on server/virtualisation over networking and security):

* Windows Operating Systems (Both Desktop and Server)

* Active Directory and Group Policies

* VMWare / Citrix

* Netapp and/or other storage/back up technologies

* Cisco Routing & Switching

* General troubleshooting

A 'can do' attitude is a must and the successful infrastructure engineer will have the opportunity to fast track their career both in terms of knowledge and responsibilities. This rapidly expanding business will present opportunities for both more senior technical and/or management opportunities in the future.

A driving license is essential for this position
