Senior Java Developer

(Java, Spring, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, SQL, Junit, Maven, Eclipse)

Chester; up to £60,000 + 25 days holiday + bank holidays + 5 days holiday purchase + onsite parking + on site gym + flexi working + pension doubled up to 10% + life assurance + 1 day per week remote work

I am looking for another Senior Java Developer to join a team of 8 Developers based in Chester near the Zoo! Recently I secured this global business two Senior Full Stack Software Developers after they secured more contracts and they are absolutely loving the projects they are working on and the support they are getting.

My client is a well-established and very busy, cash strong business with an international customer base and office presence in a thriving industry sector. As a picture of the scale of their operation, they have offices in 6 international locations!

You will have the chance to work with the latest technology on the market, you will have the opportunity to learn from the best, as well as bring your valuable experience to the table.

To be successful in this role you will be familiar with Java, Spring, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, SQL, Junit, Maven and Eclipse and have a Computer Science or related degree.

Other technology used in this business includes:

AngularJS, Selenium, Struts, Hibernate, Oracle, PL/SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, Ant, Mockito, Jenkins.

Any experience with the aforementioned tech will be beneficial, and if not, you will have the chance to learn!

The environment in this team is fluid, you will not be tied to structure and processes, ideas on how to better do things are encouraged, if you have a better way to do something everyone will do it. Your voice is heard and your opinion is valued within this well-established business and small dev team.

You will be working on very important and well-known software systems; designing, developing and implementing in an Agile working environment.
