This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high performing and fun team within a high-growth business.

The role is predominantly office based at the main HQ, with a mix of some on-site work dealing with site visits to resolve network/server/desktop issues. There are good transport links with Barnham train station less than a 10-minute walk; free private parking is also available.

You will be working on the helpdesk; this could be answering simple day to day questions through to handling more complex queries and occasionally project/implementation work.

Using your knowledge, and excellent customer service skills, you will support clients through their issue, passing the query to a higher level of support if you are unable to deal with it. You will also be involved in supporting the general infrastructures of our clients, carrying out routine maintenance and occasionally planned projects such as server migrations, network installations and Office 365 migrations.

***Essential Education / Qualifications / Skills / Knowledge***

- GCSE or Equivalent with Grades A-C in English Language and Mathematics

- Clean UK Driving License

- A sound, comprehensive understanding of IT and IT terminology

- Excellent IT skills and computer literacy

- Experience working in a customer service environment

- Working knowledge of MS Windows and Apple OSX

- Experience of Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016

- Domain networks including Group Policy, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP

- A good understanding of firewalls, routers, switches etc

***Desirable Experience / Knowledge***

- Infrastructure experience, ideally within a managed services environment

- Prior experience working in an IT support role or helpdesk environment

- Experience of supporting customers across Microsoft technologies

- Hyper-V (and VMWare ideally, although not essential)

- Remote Desktop Services

- Windows Deployment Services

- VoIP: 3CX and Asterisk

- A working knowledge of Cisco Meraki

- Ideally hold a professional IT certification
