C++ Software Engineer, £40/£45, Medical Devices, 3 months, Durham

A vacancy has opened up for an experienced C++ Software Engineer with experience with Matlab and GPU programming experience to work for an industry leading medical device company in Durham.

The role will involve developing C++ code on an urgent project. Part of the work will involve converting algorithms into software via Matlab as well as working with GPUs, the GPUs are already written so experience working with them rather than developing them is more important.

The role will be for an initial 3 months whilst working on an urgent requirement in C++ but there is scope for it to extend longer should the work be done to a high degree.

The role will be based near Durham but the clients are happy to support flexible hours and offer a degree of remote working for those who need it.

Essential Skills:

* Knowledge or experience of GPUs would be advantageous

* A good working knowledge of Matlab

* A strong head for Mathematics
