Information Systems Architect

Location - Sheffield

Duration - 6 months initially

Rate - £425 - £475

Background

Our Client is implementing an ambitious strategy to improve its operations, and putting the student at the heart of everything we do. As part of this implementation we are implementing and rolling out major initiatives around CRM based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and refreshing our client Web site with a new CRM and content using SiteCore and Office 365.

Our Client is looking for an Information Systems Architect to lead also establishing these systems as part of our clients IT portfolio, focusing on ensuring they are consistent with other systems and services and fit within an overall IT strategy. Key areas of focus will be integration with other systems, setting and implementing policy and strategy on data integration and governance; coherence of the User experience across multiple systems and ensuring they have a frictionless experience as they use these systems; designing and implementing strategy, policy and process for the ongoing operational management of large enterprise web services including knowledge management, content management and data governance.

Skills

To fit into the role candidates must have deep and proven expertise in the following areas

*Working on large enterprise networks and applications

*Data integration with tools such as Microsoft Biztalk

*Designing and implementing policy and process around the use of data across multiple systems

*Web service design and implementation including user experience and single sign on

*Office 365, Sharepoint Online and Sharepoint 2010 on-premise

*Dynamics 365 CRM

*Working across large dynamic organisations to identify goals and requirements, establish essential relationships and to work effectively to achieve aims.

*Developing and using clear and comprehensive communications for a range of audiences of differing needs.

*Use of cloud IaaS services to provide enterprise IT and integrate with on-premise data sources.

Competencies and Experience

The demonstrable ability to work well as part of a small and busy team is essential.

The demonstrable ability to learn quickly and work under own initiative is essential

A proven ability to work within established frameworks and standards for systems and to follow process is essential.

DTS is implementing an ISO20000 Service Management system and experience of working in similar environments is an advantage.
