Java Developer / Technical Lead (JVM Java Scala). Global leading Asset Manager is seeking a highly skilled Java Developer / Technical Lead to join the Fixed Income technology team supporting over $700 billion under management.

As a Java Developer / Technical Lead you will design and develop new features and enhancements to the core Fixed Income trading platform and take ownership of desk driven initiatives to build technology solutions within Portfolio Construction. You'll be utilising JVM languages such as Java 8 and Scala and will have exposure to the full technology stack including Angular and NoSQL data sources.

Offices based in the City with a professional, friendly environment and smart, casual dress code.

Requirements:

*Indepth knowledge of core Java

*Experience of working with financial systems, ideally within Fixed Income / Portfolio Management

*Ability to technically lead projects / small teams

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills

*Desirable: Scala
