Role: DevOps Engineer (AWS, Terraform/Ansible, Docker)
Working alongside an education support services company that delivers a service that empowers the world of education. This role will require you to be on site with the end client and you are required to be a worthy team player and able to comply with leadership tasks wen asked upon.
This opportunity is for an initial 6 month contract based in Bristol.
The ideal candidate will have end-to-end experience with both migration and transformation AWS projects, and have proven experience finding simple and sustainable solutions to complex migration problems. Additionally, communicating and collaborating with others is crucial in your development within this new role.
Required experience:
* Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration.
* Deploying, automating, maintaining and managing AWS cloud based production system, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of productions systems.
* Infrastructure as code. Experience with Terraform as a high-level configuration language.
* Advanced AWS programming (Java, C++).
* Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies.
* Experience with automation/configuration tools - Puppet, Chef or Ansible.
* CI/CD - Jenkins (object-orientated development).
This role is looking to commence in the middle of February 2018 with interviews being conducted the first week of February.
