CNC programmer (Milling or turning & offline programming)

Avonmouth (Bristol) easy access from M5 - commutable from Cardiff, Newport, Chepstow, Bristol,

£16.02 per hour (Overtime available at x1.5, X2 Sunday and after five hours Saturday) Expected earnings £35,000p/a to £45,000p/a

Monday - Friday 07:30 - 15:30

Rolling 6 month contract

Are you an experienced CNC Miller/Turner? Are you looking for your next immediately available contract role that could go permanent? My client are a leading multi-disciplined engineering corporation, acting as both a service provider and manufacturer. They are seeking a CNC Miller and/or Turner to work on a variety of different one off jobs, Mostly prototyping.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, Have experience of setting, operating and programming CNC Mills/lathes (offline programming) and be able to work from drawings, prototype parts or sketches.

On offer is an excellent hourly rate contract role, with the strong possibility of a permanent role (or an ongoing contract) at a leading engineering business with a clients in multiple industries and an international presence. There is plenty of overtime available at x1.5 or x2 Sundays or after five hours on Saturdays.

The role:

*CNC Milling and/or turning (setting, operating and programming)

*Offline programming

*Varied workload of one off parts and prototypes

The person:

*Previous experience in a similar role

*Miller and/or turner - Manual experience desirable but not essential

*Excellent experience of setting/operating/programming and the desire to learn new skills
