Senior Hardware Applications Engineer
Southampton
£40k - £55k
Based in Southampton this is an exciting opportunity for a Hardware Applications Engineer to join a new organisation focused on High Speed Optical Technology.
You will be responsible for a range of High Speed Digital Design, with a particular focus on Fibre Optic Communications., other responsibilities will include reference designs, Signal Integrity and PCB Design.
The successful Senior Hardware Applications Engineer will have a good relevant degree with a proven background in:
*Digital Hardware Design, particularly High Speed Digital, Serial Link interfaces, PCI, PCIe, Ethernet, TCP/IP
*Signal Integrity and PCB Design
*Other skills of interest include: FPGA Design, VHDL, Analogue Design, Embedded Design and Fibre Optic / Optical Comms Knowledge
