Product Manager - Healthcare/Technology

Location: London (frequent travels to Paris, 1 or 2 days a week)

Type of contract: Permanent

£55k - £65k

A perfect storm is hitting the insurance ecosystem: Big data analytics and IoT, Social networks and regulatory pressure create new challenges. We want to develop new methods to manage risks, build new engagement models and strive for simplicity and transparency, mobility and connectivity. Each of these emerging trends is opening endless opportunities to innovate and even disrupt a stable, conservative and often stone edged ecosystem.

We recognised this opportunity and created a platform that bridges the gap. At the core, we are a fast start-up studio where we host entrepreneurs, give them the opportunity to meet others, to share their ideas, to benefit from ours and we support them in developing their business from the ground up.

Within this ecosystem, we are an ambitious start-up disrupting the healthcare market, first in UK and then in Europe, using modern technology to offer patients personalised, transparent, stressless end-to-end care.

Working closely with the CEO, CTO, CMO (Medical), Head of Operations, engineers and designers to build this innovative solution, you will use your experience and intuition to make decisions on how the product evolves. You will bring passion and/or experience relating to storytelling, data analysis, user-focused design and possibly, the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

- You will own the product vision, strategy and roadmap, designing services and features through detailed requirements and product enhancement. You will evolve in a sensitive industry with very specific user needs, and with a very aggressive scale-up in the UK and then, Europe.

- You will be responsible for the product from vision to product conception, product development and new releases, with several products to be launched for different user groups. You will plan, organize and drive the development in an agile way, integrating customer feedback, technical constraints, business needs and requirements, and user testing and feedback.

- You will be managing product/service related changes, with the aim of maximizing market value at every stage by working closely with engineering, design and business development teams.

- You will supervise UX/UI designers and work closely with the developers' team.

Requirements/skills set

- Substantial experience as Product Owner/Manager. You have relevant experience in digital product and/or services management and can influence cross technical and functional teams to deliver the value for our clients.

- You focus relentlessly on the needs of the customer, combining an understanding of qualitative customer feedback with a focus on user metrics.

- You easily articulate a product vision and strategy with the ability to identify business opportunities and deliver against them.

- You have a strong product intuition, show good UX expertise and understand all aspects of customer experience, customer journey, acquisition, conversion funnels and retention.

- You have a can-do attitude. You are a problem solver. You get things done and have an entrepreneurial mindset. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and take responsibility.

- You are empathetic and are willing to build an unparalleled understanding of our various users and stakeholders in multiple countries.

- You love working in an entrepreneurial environment. You are excited to have flexibility in your role and responsibilities, and the opportunity to contribute to wider organisational changes.

Desirable: You are a certified Scrum Master (CSM) Product Owner or equivalent and have practiced extensively; you are at ease with Scrum and agile techniques in various environments, including when product entails hardware devices.
