Technical Support Specialist - 2nd Line

Location: Oxford

Duration: 3 months initial, available immediately

Day Rate: £200 - £250

Technical Support Specialist - We are actively seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join a multi-award winning Global Publishing Company located in Oxford for an initial 3 months with occasional travel to London.

As the Technical Support Specialist you will need to communicate and manage service level targets, resolve escalations and constantly improve the service.

The Technical Support Specialist will need to provide high quality and professional support for 2nd line Desktop support. The Technical Support Specialist will also needs technical knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, MAC, VPN, remote solutions, iPhone/Android and Networking/Infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for the Technical Support Specialist to work within a Global company and be customer facing.

Key Skills for the Technical Support Specialist:

* Solid experience working as a customer facing Technical Support Specialist.

* Proven knowledge/experience of desktop and thin client hardware/software.

* Experience with Windows Operating Systems, MAC, VPN, remote solutions, iPhone/Android and Networking/Infrastructure.

* ITIL certified.

* Excellent communication skills are vital.
