PMO Lead - Greenfield Projects - Up to £60k - Central London

My client is a leading Global Law Firm looking for a PMO Lead to join a brand new Greenfield, centralised Change team that sits across all shared services functions. This works across a variety of sectors with clients ranging from multinational and Fortune 500 enterprises to emerging companies developing leading technologies and public-sector bodies. The Central Change team has the remit for innovation together with the set up and roll out of a new PMO. Currently projects are run locally through the individual business functions, the aim of this team is to create much better visibility to senior management, create standardised processes and build a governance framework to ensure more efficient and transparent project delivery while delivering best in class tools.

They are seeking a business focused PMO Lead to work across multiple complex, cross functional, greenfield projects and programmes. The successful candidate must be familiar and have a good understanding of technology changes but the focus is on business impact so full end to end project experience is essential. You will be working closely with Project and Programme managers to continuously improve existing processes and procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the relationship between the delivery team and stakeholders, ensuring the delivery team have project controls in place.

Key Responsibilities:

* Ability to organise, plan and manage tasks and resources across multiple activities

* Delivery of Business and IT change

* Produce project governance documentation/overall financial reporting/RAID logs

* Implementing key portfolio processes i.e. resource management, stage gates and portfolio reporting

* Knowledge and experience of Project management techniques and disciplines

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Law or professional service experience is desirable but not necessary.
