Fullstack Python Developer - Central LondonFullstack Python Developer - Central London ROLE: Fullstack Python DeveloperSALARY: £40-70,000 DOESTART: ASAPLOCATION: Central London My financial client are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to join the team in their London offices. The role:
'€¢Actively participating in designing the product alongside the leadership team'€¢Developing a complete web application, both on the backend and frontend, starting with the pilot, then onto the MVP and subsequent releases'€¢Propose and suggest ways to improve the product, from user experience to scalability/performance and security
Essential skills:
'€¢A minimum of 4 years of programming experience, ideally with expertise gained in the following technologies and languages:
'€¢Development Framework: Python, Django'€¢Web Server: Apache'€¢Data Management: PostGreSQL or MySQL; some experience with non relational data stores like Cassandra or MongoDB is helpful'€¢Operating System: Linux'€¢Source code management: GitHub or similar
Beneficial skills:
'€¢Experience with message queuing such as RabbitMQ, Kafta would be a plus'€¢Experience in building APIs and integration with third parties (partners, vendors) would be extremely valuable'€¢Expertise in the techniques to achieve data security throughout the stack'€¢Experience with hosted/cloud environments, ideally AWS
Softer skills
'€¢Interest and experience in the Fintech and/or banking space'€¢Used to deal with the time constraints and unpredictability associated to a start-up environment'€¢Self-motivated, collaborative, and used to be an independent force of proposition'€¢Highly organized and able to manage tasks and time well
