SQL Developer - Contract - Banking - SSIS, SQL, SSRS, T-SQL.

I am currently recruiting for a SQL Developer working for a banking client on a contract basis based in Bristol. The SQL Developer will be required to program complex SQL server procedures and functions, configure and develop SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS. The SQL developer will have experience with in data migration, analysis and transformation using ETL and experience of using and developing SSIS packages. Any experience of Teradata will be highly advantageous but not essential.

The SQL Developer will also have experience of working throughout a full project lifecycle and have been involved taking requirements and acting as a business analyst in taking functional specifications from high level stakeholders and be able to produce technical results.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team for a banking client so the ideal candidate will have experience of working in the financial services or Investment banking industry.

This is a 6 month rolling contract paying up to £470 a day dependant on experience.

Essential Skills/Experience;

Microsoft SQL Server development on large databases.

T-SQL, Stored Procedures and Functions.

SSIS

SSRS

Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities

Good communication skills to also act as the Business Analyst of project and deal with high level stakeholders.
