Data Migration Consultant / Data Migration Analyst

An opportunity has arisen for a Data Migration Consultant to join a blue chip organisation within their Legal Software Services division in Canary Wharf. Providing financial and practice management systems for the legal industry and other professional services markets worldwide, you will be responsible for developing the conversion strategy for assigned projects to transfer their data from legacy systems onto the organisations product.

You will attend conversion meetings and provide expertise on the appropriate conversion strategy and scope for the project, reviewing and documenting requirements, facilitating, conducting and documenting data discovery sessions and data mapping sessions, completing validation of financial data to ensure the quality of the result that is derived to the client.

This is a very varied role that requires somebody with excellent time management skills. You will be confident dealing with stakeholders at all levels and have extensive experience working on client sites. You should be highly analytical and enjoy working with data and should have excellent SQL server knowledge and the ability to develop SQL queries.

The position will require travel to client sites in London, Bristol and occasional global travel. You will be able to work remotely when not required on client sites.

The position will pay between £40,000 and £50,000 depending on experience.
