We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Data Management Analytics Manager.

In this role, you will:

* Support the business unit in maximizing understanding and profitability and in meeting its business objectives

* Work with IT and business owners to identify, source, validate and make available data sources from across the bank

* Take the lead in developing, maintaining and improving high quality validated strategies, while leading projects that support the goals of the team

* Involve taking initiative in identifying gaps in data and in understanding and managing a range of analytical and modeling projects from inception to delivery

* Support the Head of Data Management by helping shape the work pipeline for own business area

* Develop business awareness to support projects across all areas own team supports in order to deputize for Head of Data Management when required

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

* Experience of identifying technological opportunities then driving business cases to enable IT to deliver software solutions

* Have directly relevant experience of working in an analytical role within financial services or an alternative data driven organization

* Ability of keeping abreast of latest tools and technology available within HSBC and in the marketplace

* SAS experience and other programming languages is an advantage
